Gratitude

For over 30 years I have been extra-ordinarily fortunate to call the Mad River Valley my favorite place to live, re-create and work.  Truth be told it is difficult to truly say if it’s been worth so many years of 60 - 70-hour work weeks. But what I can say with absolute certainty is I feel genuinely fortunate to have been able to forge so many lasting relationships with so many folks who I have worked with and worked for. To all of you I say a great big “THANK YOU!!”.

Along the journey I also had the extra-ordinarily good fortune to work with two very dedicated, hard-working and thoughtful individuals in Erik Reisner and Steve Robbins. Today Erik and Steve are I are the three partners in Mad River Valley Real Estate and I can say with great honor these were two truly serendipitous finds!

We three are also very fortunate to have Brent Adams as our Office Manager. Brent is the glue that keeps everything together as the three partners move from one transaction to the next. We could not possibly provide such highly personalized customer service without Brent always at the ready to ensure transactions appear smooth and effortless to our clients. To Brent we say, “muchas gracias!”.

Together we all share a common bond in our desire to provide the highest level of professional service in order to help our clients make informed real estate and financial decisions. In all we do our clients truly do come first and that guiding principal is what sets Mad River Valley Real Estate apart from all the rest.

When you work with one of the Mad River Valley Real Estate partners you actually have all three partners and Brent working for you.  This is not just a business strategy it is also a legal strategy. Did you know agents within many other Vermont real estate offices compete with each other for business?  Not so at Mad River Valley Real Estate. At MRVRE we all work for you!

Today I am poised to head south to spend some time “down on the farm”, literally! I was fortunate to be able to purchase an historic hill farmstead in the central mountains of Costa Rica about ten years ago. Since then I’ve been working with a native “Tico” business partner and a family of native Tico caretakers to develop the property into an eco-lodge. Finca Monte Galan is the name and to date we are growing over 40 perennial food crops from avocado to yucca.

The next six months will be dedicated to finally bringing the project to fruition.  It would be impossible to pull off this feat without such generous and dedicated compadres at MRVRE. For this opportunity I am enormously grateful.

While I am away please do not hesitate to reach out to Brent, Erik and Steve who each stand ready to serve your real estate needs in the Mad River Valley and Central Vermont.

Pura Vida!
